Eneve, een Europese leverancier van software- en consultancyoplossingen voor energiebedrijven, neemt het Spaanse softwarebedrijf Nemon over. Met de overname betreedt het bedrijf uit Utrecht de Spaanse en Portugese energiemarkt en versterkt het zijn positie als Europese speler in energiesoftware.
De Spaanse en Portugese energiemarkten zijn in beweging door de groei van hernieuwbare energie, verdere elektrificatie en toenemende integratie met het Europese energiesysteem. Deze ontwikkelingen vergroten de complexiteit en leiden tot een groeiende vraag naar geïntegreerde softwareoplossingen en realtime inzichten.
Nemon is leverancier van SaaS-oplossingen voor energiebedrijven en ondersteunt klanten bij operationele processen zoals aansluitregisterbeheer, marktcommunicatie, contractmanagement, forecasting en facturatie. Tot de gebruikers behoren onder meer regionale energiebedrijven zoals Barcelona Energia Pública.
Eneve is in 2025 ontstaan uit de bundeling van meerdere Europese energiesoftwarebedrijven, waaronder Energy21, Ecedo, Jules en Gridhub. Het bedrijf biedt een geïntegreerd softwareplatform en ondersteunt via zijn klantenbestand meer dan 20 miljoen aansluitingen in Europa.
Met de overname van Nemon breidt Eneve zijn positie uit en gaat het meer dan 100 energiebedrijven in Spanje en Portugal bedienen. Klanten van Nemon krijgen toegang tot aanvullende functionaliteiten op het gebied van prijsstelling, portfoliomanagement, klantinteractie, handel en balancering, terwijl de lokale dienstverlening behouden blijft.
Volgens CEO Michiel Kuiper past de stap in de internationale groeistrategie van het bedrijf: “De Iberische markt is een van de meest dynamische energiemarkten in Europa. Deze uitbreiding stelt ons in staat energiebedrijven breder te ondersteunen bij risicobeheer, portfolioptimalisatie en prestatieverbetering.”
De oprichters van Nemon, Nàdia Contreras Jordà en Ivan Solé Martinez, blijven betrokken bij de onderneming. Zij zien aansluiting bij Eneve als een volgende stap in de ontwikkeling van het bedrijf, waarbij het toegang krijgt tot een breder Europees platform met behoud van de bestaande dienstverlening.
Atilano Villanueva, die het afgelopen jaar verantwoordelijk was voor de dagelijkse leiding van Nemon, blijft aan als managing director. De integratie van Nemon in Eneve zal de komende maanden plaatsvinden, met nadruk op continuïteit voor bestaande klanten en een geleidelijke uitbreiding van het dienstenaanbod.
Na afronding van de transactie verwacht Eneve een omzet van meer dan €30 miljoen te realiseren. Met de overname treden circa 30 medewerkers toe tot de organisatie, waarmee het totaal aantal werknemers uitkomt op ongeveer 180.

With the acquisition of Nemon, Eneve enters the Spanish and Portuguese energy markets and strengthens its position as a leading European software partner in the energy sector.
The Iberian energy markets are being reshaped by the growth of renewable energy, ongoing electrification and increasing integration with the European energy system. This drives market complexity and increases demand for integrated software solutions and real-time insights. As a result, new opportunities arise for Eneve and Nemon to support energy suppliers more effectively. Nemon has built a strong reputation in Spain. The company supports energy suppliers with critical operational processes, including connection register management, market communication, contracting, forecasting and billing. Its solutions – Nemon Trade Energy, Nemon Trade Energy CRM and Nemon Trade Energy SIPS – serve a range of clients, including Barcelona Energia Pública.

The integration of Nemon into the Eneve Group will take place over the coming months, focusing on continuity for existing customers and the gradual expansion of capabilities. Following the transaction, Eneve is expected to generate a turnover of over €30 million. The acquisition adds 30 specialists to the group, bringing the total workforce to approximately 180 employees.
